For cloud discovery, when will the US datacenter(s) be launched and ready?

We are actively working on adding a US-region for Lansweeper Sites. We are currently preparing for a phased rollout plan, with General Availability targeted for Q1/Q2 2025.  If you are interested in adopting a US-region Lansweeper Site, please reach out to your account manager for more information.

Is there any upcoming features designed for the data center? Such as data center layouts, Row Layouts, and Rack designs? I would love to have the ability to have a rack with the switches and servers all listed and able to label the rack switches to what is scanned from lansweeper

Hi @RandomITDude232, although we don't have a delivery plan for such features, we are still open to collecting business needs from our users to make such features a reality. If you'd like to share more with our team, you can contact me directly at julien.pierrot@lansweeper.com to discuss your requirements? Thank you for your interest!

Bit disappointed that nothing was mentioned regarding the new licensing, new features in Lansweeper on-prem (if any), and also disappointed to hear that the new network discovery and IT Agent does not tie in with Lansweeper on-prem.

For us (and I think many other companies with sensitive data), the USP of Lansweeper is the on-prem SQL data, on-prem (IT and OT) discovery and lightweight scanning executable (LsPush).

Hi @Hendrik_VE ,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
New licensing is scheduled to be part of the next launch by the end of the year.
The discovery part of this launch focuses on the preview of Lansweeper Discovery.
While it doesn't tie in with Lansweeper on-prem yet, this doesn't mean we're not considering that option to still offer an on prem inventory combined with new discovery (like already possible with OT today).
We're focussing first on making the link Lansweeper Site as this inventory can give you a lot more externally enriched data on top the raw data already gathered in your on premise inventory (like lifecycle and vulnerability information).
While the SQL on prem database can be useful to get/update info from your inventory, we're asking you to also consider the added benefits of doing similar actions with the Lansweeper API, like this example: https://docs.lansweeper.com/docs/api/getting-data#examples.

On top of the content in this Summer launch, LsPush is getting a replacement very soon, called IT Agent Portable which will serve for the use case for on demand scanning without installation in logon scripts for example. "LsPush is getting a replacement very soon, called IT Agent Portable which will serve for the use case for on demand scanning without installation in logon scripts for example"
So you mean IT Agent Portable will also be able to send scanned data to LS On-Prem, right?

Hi, just want to tell that what we could query in SQL server is by far more powerful and gives really personalized insights that the API is far from doing or requires more effort.

When will we see the ability to create custom data fields, populated by sources external to Lansweeper in an automated way (read/write API)?

Hi @cj_mcevoy. With Project Playground, we plan to facilitate the customization and automation of the Lansweeper platform, including integrations with external tools to bring data within Lansweeper. I'd be happy to give you a quick demo and learn more about your use cases. If you are interested, just write to me at vicente.soriano@lansweeper.com, and we can schedule a short call.
