Engaged Sweeper III

Like under Windows OS,

For Linux and MacOS, if we could have a specific field for antivirus in Summary tab. It will probably need a new table to manage which Software are recognized as an antivirus under Linux and MacOS. It could share the same "Anti-Virus software name table", but a different background detection under these other OS to reach their specific software table.

But basically, the Software table betwwen OS is not identical. For Windows we can have Software name, version ,Type, Publisher. For Linux we can have Software name, version, Type, Description, size, Publisher, Architecture and PAth. For Mac we can have the Software name and version only. But they have all a common field "Software" name. About the Anti-Virus settings it still technically to just need to add new entries if the Software name is not in the list, like :

For Linux

  • Software: mdatp
  • Description: Microsoft Defender (Production)

  • Software: clamdscan
  • Description: Anti-virus utility for Unix - scanner client

  • Software: ds_agent
  • Description: Trend Micro Deep Security Agent

For MacOS

  • Software: Microsoft Defender

etc.

Dear,

The current antivirus implementation only discovers this for Windows. Identifying this also for Linux and MACOS would be indeed nice to have.
Other customers have requested it in the past, so we will upvote your request.
