I would like to write a report to tell me two different thing: 1. If a device has a SNMP string of "public" or "private" 2. if any device has FTP enabled.
A wonderful forum you have here. I love your product.
1. Lansweeper does not store this information as plain text, as this would be a security risk. Any SNMP scanning credentials you submit are encrypted in the database. 2. The sample report below lists FTP enabled devices.
Select Top 1000000 tblAssets.AssetID, tblAssets.AssetName, tsysAssetTypes.AssetTypename, tsysAssetTypes.AssetTypeIcon10 As icon, tblAssets.IPAddress, tblAssets.Lastseen, tblAssets.Lasttried, tblAssetCustom.FTPheader From tblAssets Inner Join tblAssetCustom On tblAssets.AssetID = tblAssetCustom.AssetID Inner Join tsysAssetTypes On tsysAssetTypes.AssetType = tblAssets.Assettype Where tblAssetCustom.FTPheader <> '' And tblAssetCustom.State = 1
