In order to plan PC replacement, I would like to know if is possible to create a report sort by PC obsolescence ... I thought something like a query with processor's family and frequency (an AMD K7 850 MHz is older than a Pentium IV 3 GHz).
Can anyone help me, please?
Thanks.

That could work.

Maybe you can also try to do a reverse sort on tblbios : releasedata

I'll try to find it but I think I don't have any date ...

What about to create a table with name of processor (or some data that permit to recognize every kind of processor, without frequency) and an increase number to order them?
Something like:
...
- PIII 10
- PIV 20
- AMD K7 20
- AMD K7 XP 30

and so on ...

If you have this data somewhere you can add it to the custom fields. (field purchase date)

Maybe you can sort on processor GHZ or on the purchase date of the machine (most recommended)

mmm ... that could be good for each kind of processor, not for different kind ...
