Lansweeper pulls information from software installations from the registry keys we have added below, which mimics the Add/Remove Programs in Windows. If the software isn't retrieved in the aforementioned methods, then it will not be given back in Lansweeper. Unfortunately, it seems to be that Microsoft no longer gives back the edition for Visual Studio 2017 under Add/Remove programs as seen in
this MSDN post.
