Problem

You may not receive an invitation link via email, even though your mailbox is working correctly.

Cause

Invitation emails are only sent to users who have an active Lansweeper Cloud account. If no Cloud account exists, the system cannot send the invite link.

Troubleshooting steps

  1. Verify mailbox functionality
    • Ensure the mailbox in question is operational and capable of receiving emails.
  2. Check for a Lansweeper Cloud account

Solution

If your mailbox works but you haven’t received the invite link, register a Lansweeper Cloud account first. Once registered, you will then be able to receive the invitation email.
