You can personalize your diagrams to better suit your needs. Customizations include changing layouts, adjusting settings, and managing how objects or groups are displayed.

These changes are only visible to you and are not shared with other users. To share a customized version of a diagram, use the Export option.

Customize layouts

Customize the way your diagram is organized by manually adjusting objects, switching between layouts, or managing logical groups.

Move assets

You can adjust where objects are placed in your diagram:

  • Move assets: select an object and drag it to a new position

  • Multi‑select: hold Ctrl+Left click to select multiple objects at once

Object positions are not saved. Any refresh (regeneration, page reload, or filter change) will automatically reset their placement.

Select layouts

Layouts let you instantly reorganize a diagram without manually moving assets:

  • Star layout: display assets and their relations in a star‑shaped branching pattern

  • Tree layout: display assets and their relations in a hierarchical tree

Manage logical groups

Logical groups can be opened or closed in bulk.

Select Expand groups or Collapse groups to expand or collapse them at once.

Customize settings

The settings panel lets you control the content and appearance of your diagram.

Informational settings

Choose which information gets displayed in your diagram.

  • Relation visibility: select which relation types to display

    • Discovered SNMP relations: discovered automatically based on the network information in your inventory

    • Other discovered relations: detected through Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI)

    • Relations created manually: created manually in the inventory using asset relations

Hiding some relations may cause assets to appear without visible relations. They are not considered orphaned assets, and are not removed from the diagram.

  • Asset actions visibility: select which quick actions appear

    • Information: view asset details without leaving the diagram

    • Issues: view detected problems on the asset (only visible if issues exist)

    • Running status: view the current state of a supported virtual asset (Hyper‑V, Citrix, VMware)

  • Grouping behavior: select what objects are grouped by

    • Location: choose whether to display assets of the Location type

    • IP location: choose whether to display assets of the IP location type

Visualization settings

Choose how relations in your diagram are styled.

  • Styling: select a style for relations and adjust their thickness
