i think the question was still here.

How often ist the Active directory scanned?
which computers are scanned and how often?

does the lansweeper service scan the computers in domain?
only the computers that are logged on?
computers with red cross in ou computers?
is there a trigger to scan specific ou`s?

in my opinion it would be nice, to scan ip-ranges! if it is possible. we have about 10 virtual lans, in 8 of them we have domain computers, in 2 of them we have workstations that are not in the domain, we found out how to scan them via lsclient, and specific firewall settings....

but it would be nice to scan them like the setting with credentials in lsmanager, but there is no domain, maybe it is possible to put them into a seperate part. I think in lamanger there is a point to scan specific computers (but without other credentials)
is it possible to tell the lansweeper server to scan them via ip-ranges?

In active scanning you specify the domains you want monitored and you can also restrict to certain OU's.
The service monitors the domaincontrollers in the domain for recent logged on computers and add them to the scanning queue.
Each computer is only scanned once every 8 hours maximum (except if you lstrigger of lsclient it)

This is not possible.
