Is there a way to display the Computer Description field from the AD? I read on the website that it will scan all Active Directory user and computer details. In looking through the database, I see a table called dbo.tblADusers that has all the user details, but I can't find a table that holds the computer details. Any help is much appreciated.

This feature is implemented in our next version 3.5 : you can test the beta from

While we're talking about AD info - I'd really appreciate being able to view the Active Directory Organizational Unit for the current computer that I'm viewing, as well as the OU that a user is assigned to.

It would be helpful for quickly troubleshooting GPO issues (Why isn't XXX software installed on this PC? Oh - it's in the wrong OU etc.)

*EDIT*

I've put a custom registry key search entry into my config that looks at a PC's DN (HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\GROUP POLICY\STATE\MACHINE\Distinguished-Name) but I have a feeling that some sort of WMI query directly to the AD records would be a bit more accurate.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

This was in version 2.0 and has been removed because it wasn't used by most people.
I'll add it to the wishlist to scan again.
