Question

Where can I find the uptime information in Lansweeper?

Answer

Lansweeper displays uptime information in two locations:

  • The Uptime tab on a Windows asset: Lansweeper scans the uptime events (e.g., power-on and power-off events) that occur on your Windows computer. These events are retrieved from the Windows computer's Event Viewer, which generates the uptime calendar displayed in the uptime tab of the computer's web page. Ensure that you scan your assets using the correct Administrator credentials and with proper access to the Event Viewer.
  • The Uptime field on the summary tab of a Windows asset: Lansweeper pulls this uptime data from the WMI class Win32_PerfFormattedData_PerfOS_System.
