I have two separate domains configured for active scanning. The service account has permissions to scan domain 1 and alternate credentials has been configured for domain 2. On servers in domain 2, numerous logon attempts are being made from the service account username and the failures are being logged to the security event log. Regardless of these errors, the servers in domain 2 are being successfully scanned using the alternate credentials.
How do we stop the service account from attempting to scan domain 2 and eliminate these errors?
