When i run screengrab in web console ,one error display: "system error. Code 5. Access is denied". why?

run screengrab.exe manual ok ,(example: \\lansweeperserver\sharefolder\screengrab computername)

and test connect ok , not error.

port 445 shoud be open , "lansweeperserver ---->client" or "client ---->lansweeperserver" ?

in my company :
port 135: lansweeperserver <-----> client open to each other
port 139: lansweeperserver <-----> client open to each other

The server in this case is not the lansweeper server.

Ports 139,445 should be open on the computer targeted by screengrab.
The server service should be running on the computer targeted by screengrab.
The remote registry service should be running on the computer targeted by screengrab.
The default shares should be available on the computer targeted by screengrab.
Your username (the one you run screengrab with) should have administrative permissions on the client.

This error is reported by the client, not by internet explorer.

This means that the user running screengrab does not have the necessary permissions on the client.

* Client requirements : Windows 2000 or higher
* Both machines should be in trusted domains.
* The user should have administrative privileges on the client.
* TCP ports 139, 445 should be open on the server from the client.
* The “Server” service should be running on the target machine.
* The “Remote registry” service should be running on the target machine.
* The Default shares should be available on the client (C$, admin$)

We have full access to the screengrab.exe file.
We have full access to the target workstation.

if this case caused by IE explorer?

i setting IE 6.0 activeX in local intranet , how to setting in IE7 or IE8 ?

Could you please post a complete screenshot of the error.

It might be:
That you don't have access to the screengrab.exe file
That you don't have access tot the target workstation.
