Hello All,

I am evaluating the product.

I have a few Questions:

1. How much bandwidth does it generate from client to server?
2. During the scanning process, how intrusive is it on the client?
3. Is there any documentation on the Premier product to define how intrusive the remote scanning is and how much bandwidth it generates??

Thanks in advance..

The statistics:

Average for a full first time scan measured over a 1mbit connection.

On a LAN the data transferred will be the same but much faster.

6 megabyte traffic (All sections scanned)

Statistics of the longest scan:
Top 10 time for each scan (over 2 mbit) (in seconds)

Software  54,95
Files  9,03
Environment  5,41
Comapplication  3,25
Dcomapp  3,11
Usersingroup  2,95
Desktop  2,59
Autorun  2,48
Services  2,42
Quickfix  2,23

The software scan takes the longest depending on the amount of registry keys (and the network speed) (this computer has a lot of software installed)
Files -> 30 different dll files are scanned in this test.

Secondary scans only takes a few seconds depending on your waittime configuration.

- Our bandwidth tests are a bit outdated, I'll see if I can get some updated info
- The client doesn't notice that the scanning takes place. (except on very old machines with only 64kb memory it slows done a bit.)
