Hi,
i have a problem using basic actions like ping, nslookup and so on.
We use computernames longer then 15 characters. So the registered netbios name is 15 characters long and the registered dns name is more than 15 charaters long. Netbios over TCP/IP is deactivated on all our clients.
Problem is that the {computer} parameter always uses the registered netbios name and not the registered dns name for the basic actions.
How can i change the existing computer parameter to use computer dns name ?
Is it possible to create a new parameters like {computernamedns} and {computernamewins} for the next lansweeper verison ?
