We are facing a bit of a problem here, we have a fair number of un-installed Office version that still shows up the Lansweeper scan.
Just to be clear, I do not believe it is a Lansweeper issue, however it does skew our results.
For example, we have uninstalled Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 from a machine, but the key : SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Registration\{90110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9} still exist in the Registry. MS uninstaller doesn't seem to have removed it.
Same for Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise – 64bit OS version and
SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration\{90120000-0030-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}
We have tried CCLEANER and Windows Install Cleaner, but it didn't find a problem.
We are not sure whether other Office Application need to keys to be there or it can be removed safely?
Does anyone else experience this/ have resolved this ?
