I want to use Lansweeper to track, just from an inventory perspective, the BlackBerries, smartphones and cell phones I manage. I can add a device to the system but I do not find an appropriate "Type" to assign. I'm pretty sure those types are all in a DB table somewhere so my temptation is to go find it and hack in some types.
I'd like to get your opinion on doing this. If I do so, are they going to get removed during a furture upgrade? Or, will it cause any other kind of instability?
