We have a couple of applications on our network that aren't properly programmed to run correctly under "standard" user accounts. To get around this, we're currently creating some RunAs shortcuts for users using RunAs Professional (http://www.mast-computer.com/c_9-l_en.html) so that we can elevate user permissions for those applications.

Can lsrunas be used for that same need? Can we distribute saved shortcuts with encrypted passwords and a checksum check? I'm testing the free version of Lansweeper, but haven't been able to see the premium tools in action.

Excellent. Is there any way to get some the premium tools on a trial basis? If I can get Supercrypt working as a viable replacement for my current paid RunAs solution, I should be able to justify the purchase price. Perhaps you have a trial for the premium subscription, but I haven't found it yet.

You can use supercrypt on all computers in one company if you have a premium subscription.
Supercrypt is a standalone executable, if you place it in the windows folder (or a shared folder) it will work.
You can create shortcuts that pass the encrypted lsc file as a parameter.

Thanks for the quick response. Sounds like Supercrypt is what I want.

Can I distribute Supercrypt shortcuts to end users?
Do I need to install a client in order for Supercrypt shortcuts to work? If so, what's the process? (Is the installer an MSI?)
Is there a limit to the number of computers I can use it on?

Supercrypt files can be saved with an MD5 checksum for the file to be executed, Lsrunase does not uses a checksum (note that supercrypt is also included in Lansweeper premium)
