Can't see any computers in Lansweeper (not premium)
I can only see the machine with lansweeper that I'm running it on.
How can I scan the computers on my domain.

baggies1, I strongly suggest you read and try to understand the documentation about Lansweeper, because it does not require a client. Maybe you shouldn't throw every product that you try out in under 5 minutes and see what it does, otherwise you might end up with a nice product to start with but becomes very bad once you want to do more advanced stuff.

NOTE : If you're seriously comparing 72 different network tools to do stuff like this, I tip my hat to you because that's one big adventure. I hope you find the best one and have good benchmarks.

Reading the documentation is a great start, then all those help.help.help.helphelphelp might be simplified to a simple "wow, works great!" 😛

Ok so where is the answer to this...? this is exactly my problem.

what an utterly frustrating thread?

is the answer in the numerouws tweets? can i get a trial key?

what ?where and when? give us a clue?

how do i add a workstation? only got my own so far?

do i need to upgrade to premium first? not a lot of good that really...need to test....

There is no limit, the only limit is that the clients belong to the same domain as the server (unlimited clients in one domain)

I am using the "Free" version while I wait for my boss to approve the $$ for the premium version. I have successfully added 38 workstations and 9 servers, but I can't add any more - is there a limit on how many I can add?

Thanks

Do you find any errors in your errorlog.txt file after using lsclient?

13.08.2009 16:06:54: DEWSV1001 <> DEIS320 NA: scanning multiple domains requires the premium version

We are having multiple domains in the network but our company uses only one. I configured the lansweeper host to use an domain account instead local and then it was working. Looks like it was counting "local" users as "domain".
