We have many domain computers on that use a VPN tunnel, but these computers are not scanning. We use a PIX and remote users on one end and an ASA on the other as the VPN server.

What config do we need? What ports need to be open to permit lansweeper to work over these tunnels?

I was not able to get this to work, however I noticed that the beta 4.0 shows scanning over vpn improvments. How would I use 4.0 to accomplish the scanning over our VPN tunnels?

There is a lsclient /scanonip option
Which allows to scan on the originating IP address.

There must be a way in cisco firewall to do this (I'm no cisco specialist)
Maybe you can allow all traffic from the lansweeper server to the clients over your firewall (only for this server)

This link shows how to make wmi work over a static port : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb219447%28VS.85%29.aspx

I reviewed the link and opened the necessary ports on each firewall, but the link for "locking" down the WMI seems only to be for a Windows Firewall on the computers. My problem is that since this is a domain (we are evaluating if this program will work before buying it) we have Cisco firewalls on each side. I have to open specific ports and can't have the WMI trying to pick ports are random.

Did I miss something?
