Sweet! This appears to be working for me also. After deleting the service and recreating it with the 3.2 exe and config files I'm now seeing the scanned computers increasing in direct proportion to the decreased number of unscanned. Interesting.

Hi garvey, which steps did you took for your 3.2 upgrade, and in which order?

You would ask me that!! With trying to get this going, I'm not *certain* but I believe I:
Copy 3.2 folders over original installation
Delete invalid domain entries in the tsysadmins table
Run the upgradedatabase.sql script
Remove the LanSweeper service
Install LanSweeper 3.2 service with Active Scanning
Copying the Web service didn't change any config, just added the 2 files
Copied over new lsmanage.exe, not sure when I did that.
I hope this is an accurate representation of what I did.

When you ping to "potter2.ridge.k12.wa.us" does it resolve to the correct ipaddress?
Yes, it does. I know I do have some mismatches in DNS, but this one is good. I'm sure I don't have all that many that are wrong.

Is the potter2 computer found by the active scanning or did you run lsclient.exe on it.

I have disabled the script that runs lsclient so all are via active scanning.
Here is the potter2 record from tblcomputers:
Computername Domain Userdomain Username Lastseen Firstseen Lasttriggered LastScheduled LastActiveScan FQDN
POTTER2 SPUDDERS 9/16/2008 7:38:35 AM 9/15/2008 11:04:55 AM 9/16/2008 7:38:35 AM potter2.ridge.k12.wa.us
The Userdomain, Username, Lasttriggered and LastScheduled fields are blank. It doesn't appear any differently than those that scanned as far as I can see.

None of these computers has the problem of not being scanned.
Here is a screenshot of one such computer:
I've always had some of these, but not this many. Note that I am also using the AD scanning, if that makes a difference.
