Engaged Sweeper III
Hello. I am very new to LAnSweeper (installed it yesterday), and created a login script for my domain. THus far Lansweeper is working like a champ! Te only issue I am having (and it may simplybe something I"m overlooking) is all our Dell PC's don't have their service tag #s recorded in LanSweeper. This is information that can be pulled fromthe BIOS, so I'm curious why I can't find service tag numbers in lansweeper.

I used an open source product in the past called ZCI and it owuld pull dell service tag numbers. I moved away from ZCI becase it was a hassle to automate data collection and some Windows secutrity measures had to be disabled for automation as well. After a simple install and thus far (for me) flawless automated data collection I hope Dell service tag numbers are collected. If not let me know and I'll add that to the wishlist forum.

Thanks for the great product!

You need to look in table "tblComputerSystemProduct" field "IdentifyingNumber"

Ah ok. Thanks for the quick reply! I'll take a look.

So that filed isn't viewable in the web gui at this time?
