Lansweeper currently does not scan docking stations directly but rather gathers the information from the WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation), a management framework built into Windows operating systems. If the targetted Windows device is connected to the docking station during the scan, the docking station should be listed in the Config/Hardware/System Chassis section of the device's Lansweeper webpage, but only if Lansweeper was able to find its information in the WMI.

Unfortunately, if certain information is missing from WMI, such as the serial number or the service tag, Lansweeper will also not be able to retrieve it and show it in the Lansweeper interface.

As an alternative, you could track your docking stations as separate assets by creating asset pages for them. However, keep in mind that manually created assets will count toward your scanning license.
