first i'll explain the situation.
We have some licenses of MS Office 97/2003(complete), then we bouth some license just for Excel and Outlook2007 .
But we still to install and use the 97 or 2003 versions. Some PC has just OL, others has Access or Excel
I need to know where and which software is installed.
The problem: if i install, for example, just the OL from the CD MS Office 2003, on the liste Add/Delete the programs it's displayed as MS Office 2003, so on Lansweeper's software report i see MS Office 2003, not OL 2003
I know, i can use a file scan to detect the msaccess.exe or others, but it was not always installed by default path.
And often, we have a mixed installation: Access 97 and OL 2003
So my question: is it possible to detect what exactly is installed on PC(MS Office soft and the version) from the Windows registry or by an other way?
