Engaged Sweeper III
Hello,

🙂

Our apologies, but none of the Lansweeper staff speak French. We will answer your question as best we can, but in English.

It is possible that SNMP was initially disabled on your printer or an incorrect community string was submitted in the Lansweeper configuration console.
When Lansweeper was finally able to access SNMP, it collected additional information on the device. One of these details was the MAC address, which is used as the unique identifier for devices. This explains why a second database entry was created. You'll notice that the old printer entry was no longer updated after the new one was created.

Could you do the following:
- Select the "old" printer entry in the configuration console (the one without SNMP active), under Lansweeper\Scanned Devices.
- Hit the "Delete" button. This will remove the entry from your database.

If SNMP remains active on the printer, the duplicate entry should not return.
