Few questions relating to 4.0 beta

Hello - we are currently using lansweeper 3.5.2.4 in production. I didn't install it (over 2 years ago), and just have been using the web portion, as someone else configured it all.

I setup a test server and installed the 4.0.0.11 beta on it and it's running great minus a few features. I did apply our license key to the beta and have it running scanning on our domain, and it picked up all the computers that version 3.5 picked up.

1. 4.0 beta isn't showing anything for the memory field under a specific computer
2. in the 4.0 beta, I have no reports listed, how do I get the default reports to list under the dashboard?

Go ahead and delete this thread if possible! I configured another machine with 2GB and the beta is working great. Thanks.

I think I already answered my own questions. The box I have this served on is a Dell GX280 with only 256MB of RAM! My guess is it errored out on some of the database building and report building. I'm going to increase the memory and reload the DB and try reinstall and I'll let you know. Sorry!

This was indeed the problem:
2010-04-01 12:22:47.750 Error: Populating Lansweeper Database There is insufficient system memory in resource pool 'internal' to run this query

Could you try manually to run the sql file "populatedata.sql" on the lansweeper database.

Could you post the install.log file please. (in the lansweeper folder)
You are most likely missing a part of the database.

Yes, the memory field is blank for every PC. Below is what a PC looks like...

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional
SP: Service Pack 3

Is the dashboard completely empty?
