Can someone explain to me how Lansweeper is gathering user information as it relates to the machine it has logged into please.
So User1 has logged into PC1, PC4, PC7. How does Lansweeper know this and track it. We have both Active Scanning AND LSClient.exe pushing when users log in.
The concern is we are trying to find out why we have so many Service Accounts in the Domain Admins group and are trying to find out possibly matching the user/SVC account to the machine it has logged into to find out what the account purpose is.

Lsclient sends the username to the server, the server stores this in the database and a scan is performed.
Active scanning looks if a user is logged on during the scan and stores the user in the database if found.
