I ran the setup.exe and it took me through the entire setup, but never mentioned finding my 3.5.2.14 version and asking if I'd like to upgrade.

So now on the same Windows 2003 server, I have 3.5.2.14 and 4.0 installed and working. The SQL Database which is on a seperate server, it couldn't find so it made a new one. (First I tried installing without SQL) I need to have my legacy data. If I uninstall, how can I make 4.0 recognize that I have a previous version I want upgraded?

I suggest the following:

1) backup your database
2) make sure your database is named "lansweeperdb", rename it if necessary.
3) run the database upgrade manually: http://www.lansweeper.com/forum/yaf_postsm16239_Manual-database-upgrade.aspx
4) run the setup and choose only service and website (no database)

It was an upgrade and no I don't see it in the add / remove program list.

Did you install 3.5.2 from the installer or was this an upgrade from a previous version.
Do you see "lansweeper 3.5" listed in the add-remove programs?
