Hi,
I tried to install Lansweeper on a Windows 2008R2 server with SQL server 2008 standard.
Lansweeper doesn't recognize this database engine version. Is it normal?
Thanks for your answer

That's works.
In fact, as instance name was default (blank name), Lansweeper didn't recognize it. Only server name had to be indicated without instance name.
Thanks

You can manually enter the server\instance name.

When I install Lansweeper, it tries to detect a database engine. SQL Server 2008 SP1 is installed, services are running, but Lansweeper can't detect this version of SQL server and propose to download SQL server 2008 express.

It should work, what do you mean with "doesn't recognize"
