Hello
I am trying to run LANSweeper across our 2 site network. We have a main office in Doncaster and 2nd office in London connected tthrough a site to site VPN using Microsoft TMG (Windows 2008 R2 64 bit) in Doncaster and MS ISA (Windows 2003 R2 32 bit) in the London. LANSweeper is in Doncaster. LANSweeper is monitoring all the internal network at Doncaster except the TMG server. It also cannot see anything in London. It fails with the following:
> Call was canceled by the message filter. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010002 (RPC_E_CALL_CANCELED)) DON-TMG1 (DON-TMG1)
> The RPC server is unavailable 0x800706BA (don-tmg1.domain.org.uk, 10.1.1.1)
I have tried all the troubleshooting http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/The-RPC-server-is-unavailable.aspx and http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/2/The-RPC-server-is-unavailable.html and corrected any errors. I have corrected all WMI errors and verified that it is consistent. RPC is not enforced on the TMG and ISA servers. I have rules in place allowing all traffic (1-65535) to flow between both locations over the VPN.
From the LANSweeper (LS) server using testconnection to the TMG server fails on everything except the IP with the errors listed earlier, yet I can telnet to the TMG server on port 135 as well as everything in the London office.
I'd really appreciate any help in this.
Thanks
Tony
