I think this is the error that is logged when the lansweeper service stops. It is logged about 1200 times in 2-3 seconds.

This is the normal error I get after a good scan since I'm on NT4 domain.... LS Server is 2003 though

That's funny... I just logged in to give you an update, and saw this...

Yes, the new version still stops occasionally. It was stopped this morning when I came in.

These are the failures from the System Event Log--the 7034 Event ID which reads "The LansweeperPRO service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s)."

This is in the ErrorLog.txt file. The same error is repeated 1,350 times from 2:18:04 to 2:18:09 until the service finally crashes;

I'm willing to try 3.1 if you would rather not work on 3.0....

The error:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
Means that your service cannot communicate with the database server.

Are they running on the same machine?
