I am fairly new to LanSweeper. I installed it on my local pc (Vista SP2) as well as the SQL database. After the install I attempted to open the Web Console and it wont work. IE and Firefox both tell me that its unable to connect to http://localcomputer/lansweeper
it says it cannot establish a connection. any ideas how to repair this? Any help is appreciated.
I have IIS Installed also.
Not sure what aspect I am missing here.

Could you please post a screenshot of your IIS configuration.
You should see a virtual directory "lansweeper"
Also make sure that your IIS services are running (maybe they are disabled)

ugh... no one is reading this correctly.... I tried the IP and the name of the computer... i threw the word localcomputer in there to hide the name OF MY COMPUTER.
NONE of them are working...

Maybe just try to write "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" or IP of your machine instead of "localcomputer"

no i just took the name of my local computer out. because its my full name and i'd prefer to not show that. and now its not 64 bit.
