My question is, once lsclient.exe has been run on a machine once, does it ever have to be run again?

I'm using the free version of lansweeper and have successfully set up and scanned my computers once, but it looks like that initial scan was the only scan. The computer report tab for each computer shows the last scan date is the install date from a month ago.

Changes to computers made over the last month since I installed it are not showing up either. I have reduced the "Scan every X days" value to 0 for the items that have been changed, but they are not updating with the new information.

Oddly, some changes do appear to update though. For example, I have added computer descriptions to some computers and those have been updated, but I have removed software and it still shows installed.

Any guidance would be appreciated

Thanks,
Bill

You need to run lsclient each time you want to perform a scan. (easiest is to place it in the login script of the user)
