We are currently running out of space on our server that we have installed lansweeper on. We my try throwing more space at the server but we are also worried that the size of the database will just keep expanding. Do you have any good tips for keeping our DB small? Any settings we should be looking at first?

To manage database size, please have a look at your Lansweeper configuration console under Scanning Servers\Your Server\Options\Scanning & Cleanup Options. Event log information in particular takes up a lot of space.
Cleanup actions are performed when the Lansweeper service is started and subsequently every 24 hours. If you immediately wish to decrease database size, set up the appropriate cleanup options and restart your Lansweeper service.
