This is currently not supported in the current version. (for active scanning)
As a workaround you can use lsclient in the other domain.

They are not in the same forrest, bu there is a forest trust.

Does the second domain belong to the same forest.

Active scanning currently supports the active forest + all subdomains.

I am not using lsclient. I am using the active scan that comes with the premier version.
I added the admin account that is used for running the service in the first domain into the admin group of the second domain, but it isn't scanning the second domain.

The same as one domain.
use lsclient in the other domain.
Make sure that the account running your service has administrative credentials on both domains.
