.NET Runtime 2.0 Error

I am receiving the .net runtime error on the lansweeper service. as a result the service stops. I have seen the prior topic in this area however, it i dont thin the resolution is the same. prior topic indicated to change the port but, i dont have anything else on that port.

OS: windows xp
IIS, SQL local (pc not on network yet)

EventType clr20r3, P1 lansweeper30.exe, P2 3.0.2942.17910, P3 47945fac, P4 system.data, P5 2.0.0.0, P6 471ebf27, P7 246d, P8 2c, P9 system.data.sqlclient.sql, P10 NIL.

right now there is no server.... but it will be 2000. i want to run it all local (XP) and play with it - is that possible? do i need to make a vm server on my local machine get this to work?

What operating system is the server running?
