Engaged Sweeper

Hello,

We have a lot of Entra ID Joined devices.

I have added an account to the local administrator group of the device, and are trying to use that as a credential on the IP range containing the devices, however I continously get credentials error on the assets when trying to scan... trying using differnet username formats like

UPN (username@domain.fqdn)

AzureAD\<UPN>

AzureAD\<USERNAME>

DOMAIN\<USERNAME> etc.

Please advise on how to correctly conduct scanning of Entra ID Joined devices

Hi,

If your Azure Active Directory is synced with a local Active Directory, Lansweeper can continue to scan your machines via AD scanning targets. If your Azure Active Directory is not synced with a local Active Directory, you can scan your machines via an IP Range Scanning Target if those machines have a local administrator account which can be used to scan them properly. Without a local administrator account, this will not be possible, unfortunately.

Alternatively, you could also make use of our LsAgent scanning agent for those machines to scan them regularly.
