We're testing Vista on a few systems in our area, and I've noticed that the NIC settings aren't being picked up in Lansweeper. Everything else seems to be showing up as normal (though I have not checked thoroughly). Am I missing something?

My post on 8/22 lists a problem when IPv6 addresses are bound to the nic. I tested WMI queries directly and discovered that IPEnabled is true, but both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are returned.

Try removing IPv6 on the Vista machine and rescan.

Somehow I managed to miss this reply for a month. I feel rather dumb now.

Anyway, here are a pair of screenshots

From an XP machine, under the Network listing:

From a Vista machine, under the same listing:

The Vista machines are running Vista Enterprise, with a standard 'default' install from a Microsoft CD (ie, it's not a vendor installation). The install was done 'clean', with a complete reformat beforehand. Is there an easy way to set IPEnabled=true from the command line or a startup script?

Could you post a screenshot or table extract of this please.
Only networkcards with "ipenabled=true" are shown in the web interface.
