Maybe it's Windows maybe a bug.
I have some machines with German Windows XP SP 1 (can't be upgraded). Lansweeper fails to scan the OS. In AD the OS name, SP and version is ok.

Problem confirmed, some fields are only there starting from service pack 2, will be fixed.

I can see errors with some other WMI providers too.
Many PCs regardless of SP:
Hyper-V 2008 R2:
Same errors as above on providers PRINTER and POTSMODEM

These are normal errors if the wmi provider isn't implemented or active on this machine.

Good question. Just tried this because these two PCs were never scanned in 3.5.
It's working in 3.5.
