I am trying to create a report for all Operating Systems (especially Windows, Linux, UNIX, VMWare) which will give me the following info:
Number of Hard Disks
Asset Host Name
Asset IP Address
Hard Disk Speed
Hard Disk Manufacturer
Hard Disk Model Number
Disk Controller Model info (if possible)
Total Physical Memory
Used DIMM Slots (count)
Free DIMM Slots (count)
Used DIMM Size (per DIMM, in other words how much RAM does a single DIMM use)
Physical Processor Manufacturer
Phyiscal Processor Type / Model
Physical Processor Speed
Physical Processor Count
I have seen similar reports, but they are only for Windows Servers. My biggest issue is with VMWare Servers and Linux/UNIX to get this info.
