1.if one computer change OS version(example:change OS 2000 to XP),how many record in lansweeper ?one or two?
2.if one computer change IP(DHCP),how many record in lansweeper?
3.if one computer don't start many days(example:30 days),this computer record if or not in lansweeper?

i want to know how many computers(OS:2000 and above) in my company?and how many computers in some VLAN?because of,in my company,these is 20000 computer,someone change computer's OS that don't contact IT.

We had been purchase lansweeper license,will receive license in next week or next two week.

2) OK, I think I get what you're asking here. Old records will still display unless you specifically exclude them when creating your report.

3) Yes, something like :

4) 1. The only way this is possible is if you have a subdomain for each VLAN (even Active Directory only allows one instance of a computer name). In this case, you will have two separate entries in LanSweeper.

2. The new computer will overwrite the old computer's record.

1.When one computer changed name,it will make one new record . if i change PC name 10 times,it will make 10 record in lansweeper?
2.i permitted to make one report , that report's record will be not display in lansweeper when the PC don't start some days?
3.i permitted to make one report , that report will dispplay computer record of some VLAN ?(IN my conpany,10.10.1.X:for server ,10.10.2.X;10.10.3.X;10.10.78.X etc :for office, 10.10.17.X,10.10.18.x etc for prodution.we want to know how many computers in 10.10.17.X,etc)

As far as I know, the only way to get a duplicate entry for the same PC is by changing the name, in which case LanSweeper doesn't delete the computer under the old name.

3) Yes. There is a preset report on 'Computers Not Seen in 30 Days'.

4) Yes and Yes. There's a section on the dashboard that gives a count of computers per OS. Creating a report for computers in the same subnet (If your VLANs use seperate subnets) shouldn't be a problem, either. Directly tracking VLANs is not supported.
