Ive looked all over the documentation and cannot find out what the Red X and the Green Check mark are. Does it mean whether it has the latest version out or not?

so if i click on a computer, and then software, it shows a big list of software. Are you saying that even though it shows a large list of software, the ones in green are the only ones installed? Why would it show the other software packages then?

The list shows all software packages installed.
The green/red icons show which software you approved in your network.
You can approve new software using the configuration tool.

Are you referring to the icon next to the reports on the software page?

This generally means whether or not you have any items to view in the report - for example Software: Unauthorized Software may show in red with a red cross if you have any machines which have been identified as having unauthorized software on them (as determined by your settings in the GUI console).

If you didn't have any machines that contained unauthorized software then this would have a tick next to it and appear in grey text.

You can determine what reports show, in what colour via the GUI console.
