When trying to remote control a system from the Web Console...I am receiving a port 445 not open...Both system our on my LAN and not ports are being blocked? I have shut off the Windows Firewall on the LANSweeper server and the workstation that I am trying to connect to.
Can anyone help me.

Could you verify that file sharing on the administrative drives is enabled on the client.
Can you connect to \\computer\c$ on the client.

I have followed the article that you sent and I am still getting the same error message. I also followed the WMI access is denied document on both the lansweeper server and the client.....no luck

You should manually add the port in your firewall to accept the incoming connections trough that port.
