Retired Hardware (easiest way to remove from inventory)

Like the subject title says. What is the easiest way to remove systems from the inventory list?

This is probably simple but I have other projects and with a cursory look I haven't found anything.

Current versions doesn't have this feature, the new (3.0) version will have this feature.
