It seems some time ago my server decided to start resetting itself.
17 oct 2011 really 🙂
it seems to be because RPC service is crashing. Has anyone else seen this?
That seems also to be the same date I updated to lansweeper 4.2.0.52 .
any ideas..its getting annoying 🙂
I am running the service under Win 7 PRO.

The process C:\Windows\system32\services.exe (XXXXXX) has initiated the restart of computer XXXXXX on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found
Reason Code: 0x30006
Shutdown Type: restart
Comment: Windows must now restart because the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly
any ideas..its getting annoying 🙂

This thread specifies a Microsoft patch that you probably need:
http://lansweeper.com/forum/yaf_postst5712_Server-reboots.aspx
The thread talks about 2008 R2 but the patch is valid for Windows 7 also.
