After updating our 1000+ installations to LsAgent 12.2.0.1, we have the problem with approx. 10% of the clients that the file LansweeperAgentService.exe is missing in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\LansweeperAgent after a restart of the computer and thus the LansweeperAgentService no longer starts.
We made a clean install with
LsAgent-windows.exe --server our.server.domain --port 9524 --mode unattended
The service works for days after installation, until the computer is restarted.
The folder C:\Program Files (x86)\LansweeperAgent is completely filled (dll, ini, log, uninstall.exe ...), only the LansweeperAgentService.exe is missing.
The current solution is an automatic daily test to check whether the service is running & the file is available and if not, a new installation.
Is the problem known or is there already a solution? I have not found anything suitable in the forum.
Thanks!

Hello LSSpecialUser,
There is no automated uninstall running? Virus scanner? remote deployment?
I can't recall seeing a similar issue, there is mostlikely something in these machine or remote that triggers the uninstall.

I was thinking endpoint protection quarantining or deleting it as well
