Run from laptop

Hi,

I am looking for a new product to use as a network/PC audit tool for new and prospective clients. I don't want to install Lansweeper on their network if they are not yet a client. I understand I can purchase a license to allow me to run Lansweeper for this business model. My question is, can it be installed and effectively run from a technician's laptop? Is anyone currently doing this and how is it working for you?

This works fine if you do the following:

-Fill in the credentials for the customer's domain. (administrator account)
-Use the dns server of the customer.

You can try this with the 20 day trial version.
