Engaged Sweeper
Hello everybody.

Im new to lansweeper ( free ), so forgive me if this has been asked before.

I understand form having read some instructions that lsclient does nothing else than say " here is a computer, scan it" when run. However, if a computer runs lsclient, say, through at command, for whatever reason, the result will be not who is loggedon, rather the username will be the env variable %username%. Either lsclient does something more than saying here is a computer, scan it, or there is something I am missing.

T.I.A, granpirata.

Lsclient also sends the username of the logged on user to the server.

If you get %username% then you are most likely using a startup script instead of a logon script gpo.
