I will be performing a new Installation of LanSweeper on a new server and exporting the Data from a Virtual Server Running LanSweeper and SQL express.
The reason behind this is the LanSweeper web console is very slow in loading whether it be the digital dashboard or Users. My thinking is this may be due to a lack of CPU resources or a limitation of SQL express. We are currently monitoring 2500+ clients and are using Gigabit for our LAN, Fibre on our WAN.
With all that having been said my question is, given the number of clients should we install SQL 2005 or SQL Express?
