Hi, i am testing Lansweeper Premium for our network which is really awesome. Here is our situation :

We use active scanning for our domain with IP range 10.10.17.1-255, we have a subnet connected using a gateway to gateway VPN that point to our others workstations with IP range 10.10.28.1-255. The 'Test connection' report no problems, all actions are working, but we cant get any information from those machine, we still have

"The RPC server is unavailable 0x800706BA (machine01.domain.local, MACHINE01, 10.10.28.100)"

Cannot connect to DCOM port 135 : Firewalled? (MACHINE01)

Any tips?

Thank you

Thank you for the tips, the server was working using a faulty DHCP configuration and routing to our subnet was going in a wrong way.

Sincerely,

Make sure no firewall/routing problem is blocking access from the server.

Hi, the machine is online, we can RDP it. The test connection was made from my workstation, but i do the test from our server from there the test connection failed.

Did you run the connection tester from the server?
Are you sure the machine was online at the time of the scan?
