Hi,

I have alot of SUPERMICRO servers, they are connected to IPMI dedicated port, in the scan they apear as linux, i want to use SNMP, in the device tester scanning snmp shows - "SNMP disabled or wrong community"

on the server:
ipmitool> lan print 1

what am i doing wrong?

If you are seeing the message “SNMP disabled or wrong community”, that means that either:
• SNMP is disabled on the device.
• The SNMP community string submitted for the connection test is wrong. Note that community strings are case sensitive.
• SNMP traffic is being blocked/redirected.

You will need to check your network settings and the device’s SNMP settings.
